Where should I park if I have to report as a juror?

In Port Huron (201 McMorran Blvd) free parking is located on the southwest corner of McMorran and Merchant, or on the street.  No parking pass necessary.

In Marine City (2088 South Parker) you may park anywhere adjacent to the building that is marked for parking.
 

When will I have to report and where will I have to report?

Beginning on the first Monday of your term of service and continuing daily until your service is complete you will receive an email providing you with your reporting instruction. If you do not receive an email please call the Juror Hotline at 810-985-2339 for your reporting instructions. You may have to report to either the Port Huron (201 McMorran) Courthouse or the Marine City (2088 South Parker) Courthouse. 

How do I submit documents to you?

You may submit juror documents by either fax at 810-966-2535 or email documents to Jury Clerk

I receive an email every day, why?

This email is just a reminder to you that your jury service is not complete. The hotline will tell you more specifically what your instructions are and when/where you may have to report.

I'm self employed and no one else can do my job, what can I do?

Unfortunately, you will not be excused based on your occupation, this is state law and there are no exceptions. 

I'm a stay at home parent and I have no one to watch my children, what can I do?

Unfortunately, you will not be excused based on your circumstance, this is state law and there are no exceptions.

I am a full time student, can I be excused?

Yes, please submit copy of class schedule or school registration to our jury fax at 810-966-2535 or email documents to Jury Clerk

What time and what location do I have to report to?

Call the jury hotline after 5:00 p.m. starting the Monday before your service, unless it is a holiday, at 810-985-2339.  If you are called to report, time and location will be given on the hotline.

How will I know if my documents have been received?

If you do not receive an email or phone call within 48 hours, please email the Jury Clerk

I have a permenant disability and I continue to be selected for jury service?

A doctor's note must be submitted stating that you have permenant medical condition.  Please submit documentation to our fax at 810-966-2535 or email the Jury Clerk
